Frank

A group of retirees, living in a care home, share breakfast together every day. All of them want to be seen and acknowledged in a world where they feel their voices are fading. Clarissa frustrates the staff with her escape attempts, Dorothy has sticky fingers, and giggling Ginger longs to be included in the conversation. But the star of the show is Frank, a former RAF pilot who entertains everyone with outlandish stories. Ginger’s granddaughter, Saddie visits every day. She is kind and helpful but her preoccupations and preconceptions stop her from understanding the true nature of her breakfast companions.

Sundog Storytellers is excited to partner with FLC Seniors Acting Club to present Frank. The FLC Seniors Acting Club creates a variety of learning experiences in live theatre from traditional to not so traditional acting forms and techniques. They endeavour to give 55+ adults foundational training as well as a deeper understanding of how live theatre works.
